Invoicing built for business in Bulgaria

Turn a quote into a compliant invoice in one click. Bifacto handles Bulgarian VAT, keeps your numbering legal, tracks what has actually been paid, and sends your client a PDF in their own language - so billing stops eating your week.

Billing, without the busywork

Bifacto is built around how invoicing actually works: the same document changes state, from draft to quote to invoice to paid.

One document, its whole life

A draft becomes a quote, the quote becomes an invoice, the invoice gets paid - or turns into a credit note. Nothing is retyped, nothing is lost, and your numbering stays sequential the way the law expects.

Bulgarian VAT, by the article

The 0, 9 and 20% rates are built in, and the exemption reasons arrive with the ЗДДС article they rest on. Choose one and it is printed on the PDF, in the language of the document - the justification travels with the invoice instead of living in your head.

Paid or not paid, at a glance

Mark an invoice paid the day the money lands and Bifacto timestamps it. The dashboard then counts what you issued and what you collected separately - the gap between the two is what you are still owed.

Everything your billing needs

No modules to buy, no add-ons to unlock. The features below are the product.

Quotes that become invoices

Draft a quote, send it, and convert it the moment it is accepted. Quotes never consume an invoice number, so your sequence stays clean whether or not the deal closes.

PDFs in your client’s language

Pick the language of each PDF independently of the language you work in. Invoice a Sofia client in Bulgarian and a Paris client in French, from the same screen, without changing a setting.

Clients and products

Keep a directory of clients with their full company details and a catalogue of the items you sell. Both drop into a document in two clicks - and client details are snapshotted, so an old invoice never changes because an address did.

Payment tracking on every invoice

Each invoice carries its due date and payment method, and flips from issued to paid in one click - with the date the money was collected. The list sorts issued-but-unpaid invoices to the top, so the ones worth chasing are the ones you see first.

Documents that read well

Rich-text descriptions per line, amounts in words, payment method, due date, transaction details and place. Your logo at the top, your IBAN at the bottom.

Credit notes and corrections

Made a mistake, or a client cancelled? Issue a credit note against the original invoice instead of deleting history. Duplicate any document to start the next one from it.

Features

Built for the Bulgarian context

Most invoicing tools treat Bulgaria as an afterthought. Bifacto starts there: the VAT rates, the MOL contact person, the intra-EU exemptions and their justifications, and the ten-digit numbering are part of the product, not a workaround you assemble yourself.

See all features
  • The 0, 9 and 20% VAT rates, with exemption reasons on the document
  • MOL contact person on your company and on your clients
  • Ten-digit invoice numbers, allocated in order, as чл. 114 ЗДДС requires
  • Bulgarian, French and English - in the app and on every PDF
Dashboard

Issued, collected, and the gap between

Invoicing software that only prints invoices tells you what you sold, never what you were paid. Bifacto tracks both, and shows them apart: what you issued this month, what actually landed, and the twelve-month curve those two draw. The distance between the lines is the money still out there.

  • Three figures for the current month - collected, issued, documents
  • A rolling twelve-month curve: invoiced against collected
  • Your eight most recent documents, with their state and amount

Up and running in an afternoon

There is no migration project. You fill in your company once, and you invoice.

Set up your company

Company name, VAT number, address, contact person (MOL), bank details and logo. This is the block that appears on every document - you enter it once.

Add a client, pick your lines

Create the client, choose items from your catalogue or type them in, set quantities and VAT. Bifacto totals the net, the VAT and the gross as you go.

Send, then track

Generate the PDF in your client’s language and send it. Mark it paid when the money lands - the dashboard does the rest.

Simple pricing that follows your billing

Questions, answered

Is Bifacto really free?
Yes. The Free plan is not a trial - it does not expire and does not ask for a card. It is capped on volume, so if you issue a handful of documents a month it may be all you ever need.
Does Bifacto handle Bulgarian VAT?
It does. The 0, 9 and 20% rates are built in, and the exemption reasons ship with their ЗДДС article - reverse charge under чл. 21, ал. 2, intra-community supply under чл. 53, ал. 1, and the exempt supplies of Chapter 4. The reason you pick is printed on the PDF in the language of the document. You stay responsible for the tax treatment you choose - Bifacto makes sure the document states it properly.
Which currency do invoices use?
The euro, and only the euro. Bulgaria adopted it on 1 January 2026 and Bifacto has issued in euro ever since - there is no currency to choose and no rate to apply. Documents issued before the changeover are left exactly as they were: an invoice must not change after it has been issued.
Can I invoice clients outside Bulgaria?
Yes. Intra-EU exemptions are supported with their justification, and each PDF can be generated in the language of the client who receives it - regardless of the language you work in.
Do I still need an accountant?
Bifacto is billing software, not an accounting firm. It produces clean, consistent documents that your accountant can work from - it does not file your returns or replace their advice.
Can I switch plans later?
At any time, in both directions. Your documents and history are yours and stay put when you move between plans.
